Hosted and Moderated by Toni Eid, Editor in Chief and Publisher of Telecom Review, the roundtable gathered leading CEOs from the Middle East region, the list included: Ross Cormack, CEO of Nawras; Ahmad Al Hanandeh, CEO of Zain Jordan; Marwan Hayek, Chairman and CEO, Alfa; Bassam Hannoun, CEO Wataniyah, Palestine; Hassan Kabbani; Advisor to the chairman of Oger Group, Oger Telecom; Saleh Al Abdooli - recently appointed CEO for Etisalat UAE; Anders Lindblad, Head of Region Middle East and North-East Africa, Ericsson; and Hussein Rifaii, Chairman of MDIC. The session was an open discussion and the panelists agreed that the customer will drive the next telecom evolution in terms of trends and needs. However, right billing and right bundles with variety of options will ensure that operators will remain smart pipes.
