Iridium Communications has entered into an agreement with Qualcomm Technologies to enable satellite messaging and emergency services in smartphones powered by Snapdragon® Mobile Platforms. Qualcomm Technologies' new Snapdragon® Satellite solution is supported by the fully operational Iridium® satellite constellation.
